ELECTRIC SEAGLIDERS business
Area： Next Mobility
Partner： REGENT Craft Inc.
Plans to commercialize an operation business using the Seaglider developed by Regent Craft to provide a new mobility service with superior convenience and efficiency.
Planning and Verification
REGENT and JAL has signed an MOU focusing in social implementation of seagliders in Japan including rule making, infrastructure, government certification and sales/marketing. JAL is joining Hawaii Seaglider Initiative, a consortium working towards seaglider operation in Hawaii under leadership of REGENT.
FOOD TECH business
Area： Sustainability
Plans to commercialize in the new food tech area to realize a sustainable society by working to solve food problems that are a mid- to long-term concern.
Planning and Verification
"D to B agricultural produce direct sales platform" and "alternative food business." are being planned.
BUSINESS CONTEST JAL WINGMAN PROJECT
Area： Life / Sustainability
Partner： Beer the First Inc.
Through a six-month pilot collaboration with the grand prize winner of the business contest, we will consider the possibility of joint business development as a mid- to long-term partner.
Planning and Verification
Now collaborating with Beer the First, Inc. which won the Grand Prize in the JAL Wingman Project held in 2023. Developed "Japan Arigato Lager," an upcycled beer made from leftover rice in JAL's international lounge at Narita Airport.
